Katherine L. Morrison
President

I'm a lifelong resident of the Washington, DC area with more than 27 years experience in the administration of human services programs. From 1991 - 2006 I served as President and CEO of The Campagna Center in Alexandria, VA, a local, nonprofit agency with programs for vulnerable youth and families where I managed more than 240 employees and an annual budget greater than $8.5 million.

In 2006 I began Morrison Nonprofit Transitions to provide consultation to nonprofits in the areas of executive transition management, interim executive services, resource development, strategic planning, program creation, implementation and evaluation, and board development.  I'm also affiliated with Plexus Consulting and Transition Guides.

In addition to my professional experience I've been a leader in numerous organizations including Leadership Greater Washington (Class of 2005), the Women’s Giving Circle of Alexandria, the WETA Community Advisory Council, the Virginia Prevention and Promotion Advisory Council, the Rotary Club of Alexandria (President 1999-2000), Alexandria Call to Community, Washington Street United Methodist Church, Arlandria Health Clinic Coalition, Northern Virginia Coalition of Nonprofit Human Services Agencies (Chair, 1994-96), Hopkins House Board of Trustees and the Junior League of Northern Virginia (Community Advisor).

I have a BA in sociology/psychology from Duke University and I received a Master's degree from George Washington University in public administration.

I work hard to demonstrate my personal and professional commitment to strengthening organizations that help vulnerable persons.
